Legal Basis
The legal basis provided by the GDPR allows us to process personal data. At least one of the following conditions must be met (Article 6(1) of the GDPR):
We have your consent to process your data for a specific purpose. (e.g., inquiry via the contact form)
To fulfill contractual obligations, we require personal information from you in advance, which will subsequently be processed. (e.g., sales contract)
Your personal data is also processed when we are subject to a legal obligation. (e.g., invoices)
Within the scope of legitimate interests, we reserve the right to process your data without, however, restricting your fundamental rights. (e.g., secure operation of the website)
Information on data processing
Your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary or as required by law. It will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies.
User Rights
In accordance with Articles 15–18, 20, 21, and 77 of the GDPR, we hereby inform you of your rights as a user:
Right to access information about the processing of your data, as well as to obtain further details regarding the processing and copies of the data
Right to rectification and completion in the event of inaccurate or incomplete information
Right to erasure of your personal data
Right to restriction of processing
Right to data portability
Right to object to future processing of your data
Right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR
Data Transfers to Third Countries
Data processing in third countries takes place only with your consent, or when required by law or contract. Various services with offices outside the EU (e.g., the U.S.), such as Google, Facebook, or YouTube, may also process personal data.
The European Court of Justice currently classifies the U.S. as a country with a level of data protection that is insufficient by EU standards. Consequently, when data is processed by U.S. services, there is a risk that your data will not be stored and processed in an anonymized manner, and that U.S. authorities may gain access to specific data. For this reason, we are providing you with information here about the risks associated with this situation.
Disclaimer
This disclaimer is considered part of the website from which this site was linked. Should any individual parts or phrases in the text not comply, not fully comply, or no longer comply with the current legal framework, the remaining parts of the text remain unaffected.
Liability for Website Content
The content on this website has been prepared with the utmost care, and we constantly strive to improve it in order to provide accurate and up-to-date information. However, we unfortunately cannot assume any liability for the accuracy of all website content—particularly content provided by third parties. Likewise, we are not obligated to monitor the data you transmit and store or to investigate any unlawful circumstances.
Obligations under general laws to remove information or block access remain unaffected even if we are not responsible. Should we become aware of any legal violations, the relevant content will be removed from our website immediately. If you notice any illegal content, please contact us (see the Legal Notice for contact information).
Liability for Links on Third-Party Websites
Our website contains links to external websites over whose content we have no control. For this reason, we assume no responsibility for such content; responsibility lies solely with the respective website operator.
At the time the links were created, the external sites were reviewed and no legal violations were apparent. However, it is unreasonable to expect us to continuously monitor the content of external websites without concrete evidence of a violation. Should any legal violations come to our attention, we will immediately remove the relevant links.
Copyright
As the operator of this website, we always strive to respect the copyrights of others. The content we have created ourselves on this website is protected by copyright—third-party content is clearly marked as such.
To edit, reproduce, or distribute third-party content beyond the limits of copyright law, you must obtain written permission from the copyright holder.
Copies or downloads of the site are permitted solely for private (i.e., non-commercial) use.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that allow us to store certain user data, such as personal page or language settings. We use them to provide you with a pleasant user experience. There are also strictly necessary cookies—for these, there are legitimate interests that justify their use even without your consent. The use of non-strictly necessary cookies is subject to your consent. You have control over the use of cookies. You can disable the storage of cookies through your browser and manually delete all cookies at any time.
On our website, we use content management platform software to ensure the secure handling of cookies and scripts.
The software scans and monitors all cookies and scripts and automatically generates a cookie pop-up with the cookie consent required under data protection law. This makes it easier for both us and you to keep track of all cookies, and allows you, as a visitor to our website, to decide which scripts and cookies you wish to allow or block.
BorlabsCookie
On our website, we use the BorlabsCookie tool (Borlabs – Benjamin A. Bornschein, Rübenkamp 32, 22305 Hamburg, Germany). This tool allows us to store the cookie consent settings of our website visitors. You can find more information about BorlabsCookie’s data processing here:https://de.borlabs.io/datenschutz/
Web Hosting
When you visit our website, your browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge) must connect to the web server where the website is hosted. During this connection, personal data may be processed by our provider to ensure the page displays properly. Typically, user data is collected, such as the URL of the website accessed, the browser used, the operating system, the URL of the previously visited page, the hostname and IP address of the device used to access the site, the time of access, and web server log files.
We use the services of the web hosting provider Raidboxes for our website. (Raidboxes GmbH, Hafenstraße 32, 48153 Münster, Germany) You can find more information about their privacy policy here:https://raidboxes.io/legal/privacy/
WordPress.com Privacy Policy
For our website, we use the WordPress.com content management system, which processes data in the U.S., among other places. (See the section “Data Transfer to Third Countries.”) WordPress uses the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the European Commission (https://wordpress.com/support/data-processing-agreements/) as the basis for its data processing. This obligates WordPress to comply with European data protection standards, even when data is processed in third countries. You can find more information about WordPress’s data processing here: https://automattic.com/de/privacy/
Web Analytics
Facebook Conversion API
On our website, we use the Facebook Conversion API, a server-side event tracking tool. (Meta, Platform Inc. – responsible for the European region: Meta Platform Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland)
Facebook also processes data in the U.S., among other places (see the section “Data Transfer to Third Countries”). Facebook uses the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the European Commission as the basis for its data processing (https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/dataprocessing). This commits Facebook to complying with European data protection standards, even when data is processed in third countries.
You can find more information about Facebook’s data processing here:https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy
Facebook Pixel
We use Facebook Pixel on our website. To this end, a JavaScript code is implemented on our website that allows Facebook to track various user actions when users are redirected to the website via Facebook ads.
Facebook Pixel uses cookies to track your user actions on our website and compares your user data (e.g., customer data, IP addresses, user ID) with that of your Facebook account. The data is used solely for the purpose of serving ads and is subsequently deleted. As a company, we do not have access to the collected data. You can manage your personal ad settings yourself in your Facebook account.
Facebook also processes data in the United States, among other places (see the section “Data Transfer to Third Countries”). Facebook uses the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the European Commission (https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/dataprocessing) as the basis for its data processing. Through these clauses, Facebook commits to complying with European data protection standards, even when data is processed in third countries. You can find more information about Facebook’s data processing here:https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
Facebook Custom Audiences
On our website, we use Facebook Custom Audiences, a tool for server-side event tracking (Meta Platform Inc. — responsible for the European region: Meta Platform Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland).

Google Ads - Conversion Tracking
We use Google Ads (Google Inc. — responsible for the European region: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) for our marketing activities. Google Ads helps us improve our advertising campaigns and show ads only to people who are interested in what we offer.
Using the conversion tracking tool, we can see which keywords, ads, or campaigns are most effective at driving the desired customer actions. We can also see how many users interact with our ads and subsequently complete a conversion.
Based on this data, we can measure the success of individual marketing initiatives and continuously optimize our advertising efforts.
A code or tag has been integrated into our website to analyze user behavior. When you click on one of our Google Ads, the data is stored by a Google domain via the “Conversion” cookie.
Since 2017, all information has been collected using the _gac cookie, which stores data as soon as you visit one of our pages where Google Ads’ automatic tagging has been integrated. Unlike cookies set for Google domains, Google can only read these conversion cookies while you are on our site.
Our company does not receive any personal data from Google, but only a report containing statistical analyses of user behavior.
We therefore have no control over how Google uses the collected data. According to Google, the data is stored in encrypted form on secure servers. Conversion cookies typically expire after 30 days, and no personal data is transmitted. Cookies labeled “Conversion” or “_gac” expire after 3 months.
You can use your browser settings to restrict the use of cookies if desired, thereby blocking Google Conversion Tracking. This means you will not be included in the tool’s statistics.
Google also processes data in the United States, among other places (see the section “Data Transfer to Third Countries”). Google uses the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the European Commission as the basis for its data processing (https://business.safety.google/intl/de/adsprocessorterms/). This means that Google is obligated to comply with European data protection standards, even when data is processed in third countries. You can find more information about Google’s data processing here:https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
Google Analytics
On our website, we use Google Analytics, an analytics and tracking tool (company: Google Inc. – responsible for the European region: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). A tracking code has been implemented on our site to record and analyze various user actions. The collected data (e.g., IP address, location, time, number of visits) and a random user ID are stored anonymously on a Google server for this purpose. According to Google, IP addresses within the EU or the EEA are truncated and are not associated with any other data.
Using this information, Google provides our company with an analysis of user activity on our website.
You can use a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) to prevent Google Analytics from using your data. However, this restriction applies only to data collection by Google Analytics and not to our company or other advertising analytics services.
Google also processes data in the United States, among other places (see the section “Data Transfer to Third Countries”). Google uses the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the European Commission as the basis for its data processing (https://business.safety.google/intl/de/adsprocessorterms/). This obligates Google to comply with European data protection standards, even when data is processed in third countries. For more information on data processing by Google Analytics, please visit:https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/ and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (company: Google Inc. — responsible for the European region: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) on our website. This allows us to centrally manage code snippets that we have implemented on our website from various tracking tools. Google Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies.
By using Tag Manager, Google is able to collect various data anonymously for the purpose of generating user trends—however, this data cannot be used to identify any individual or our website.
Google also processes data in the U.S., among other places (see the section “Data Transfer to Third Countries”). Google uses the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the European Commission (https://business.safety.google/intl/de/adsprocessorterms/) as the basis for its data processing. This obligates Google to comply with European data protection standards, even when data is processed in third countries. You can find more information about Google Tag Manager here:https://support.google.com/tagmanager/?hl=de#topic=3441530
Font Awesome
On our website, we use the Font Awesome web font (Fonticons, 307 S. Main St., Suite 202, Bentonville, AR 72712, USA). When you visit our site, the font is loaded via the Font Awesome Content Delivery Network so that text and icons can be displayed appropriately depending on the device. If your browser does not support this font, it will automatically be replaced with a standard font.
As soon as your browser connects to the Font Awesome servers, your IP address is recorded, along with information about the icons being downloaded. Technical data is also transmitted, such as the time the page was accessed, your browser version, and your screen resolution.
Data is collected for various reasons. For example, to optimize content delivery networks in terms of error rates and security, to calculate fees for Pro customers, or to determine the popularity of icons.
Unfortunately, if you do not want data regarding your use of icons to be collected, you will not be able to visit our site.
The servers of content delivery networks are distributed worldwide and store data wherever you are located. The information is generally retained in an identifiable form for only a few weeks—user statistics, however, are stored for a longer period. These do not contain any personal data. The data may also be stored on servers in the United States. (See the section “Data Transfer to Third Countries.”) You can find more information about FontAwesome’s data processing here:https://fontawesome.com/privacy or https://fontawesome.com/support.
Google Fonts Local
On our website, we use Google Fonts provided by Google (Google Inc. — responsible for the European region: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The fonts are embedded locally on our web servers, so no connection to Google’s servers is established in this regard.
Plug-ins Used
NinjaForms
On our website, we use the NinjaForms plugin (Saturday Drive, Inc., 1809 Keith Street, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311, USA) for our forms. You can find more information about NinjaForms' data processing here:https://ninjaforms.com/privacy-policy/
Yoast
On our website, we use the WordPress plugin Yoast (Yoast BV, Don Emanuelstraat 3, 6602 GX Wijchen, Netherlands).
You can find more information about Yoast’s data processing here:https://yoast.com/help/gdpr/
